Well, Tuesday afternoon was filled with filling the boat with all the clothes & food needed for our time away. Followed by filling the car with everything we didn't need! Followed by waving goodbye to all the spiders which had been self-isolating during covid. All this followed by supper in the Wharf pub - new menu and much better than before lockdown.
Wednesday and the weather was fine so we rubbed down the front of the boat, a job we've been waiting to do for some time. Then off to Midland Chandlers to get a few odds & ends, including a new boat pole. Whoopee - how the other half live!
Supper on the boat, lamb chops, potatoes, curly kale, fry up of peppers, mushrooms & cabbage - just a light snack before watching Hampstead DVD.
Thursday and it's raining, so no more painting just yet. We'll probably set off soon, head north and see what happens.
