Phew, that was close

Saturday and off we set, back towards civilisation!?

But, before we go, an honour guard of neighbours to see us off.

It's amazing what you can see on the top of boats. Sometimes a Buddha, sometimes a lion with a crash helmet!

Oh look, where are we now?

Quite right, the Pig Place! Well, it was around lunchtime and we did need more meat.

Pushing on towards Banbury and just clearing one of the lift bridges - most of which are open, fortunately.

Now clearing Kings Sutton lock, always a favourite. Mind you, there used to be a pretty garden but it is now part of a builder's yard.

Doesn't she look a long way down?

Stopped well before Banbury and managed to get the satellite set up for the Wimbledon highlights.

Sunday and we passed through Banbury, stopping just before Cropredy. No satellite signal because of the trees.

However, TV still available for the men's final.

Managed to get a freeview signal using the satellite tripod. Otherwise we would have been motoring all afternoon to avoid the trees.

Captain now happily eating a last homegrown (or should it be boatgrown) strawberry watching Wimbledon.
