Celebrated in the morning by walking round Abingdon buying milk and duct tape. Can't say we don't know how to celebrate.
The Nags Head, the pub built on two islands in the Thames.
Walked round to the other side of the river for a good view of the mooring.
Long Alley Almshouses built in 1446 to house 4 women and 3 men but now converted to sheltered accommodation.
And Twitty's Almshouses built by Charles Twitty. We spent a while looking round St Helen's Church, back to the boat, milk in the fridge and then...
Off to the Nags Head for an anniversary lunch.
Decided to eat at lunchtime to have time to relax and enjoy it all properly.
Even I put on a clean shirt for the occasion.
47 years together and we're still talking.
