Return to Hanley

Monday and we are back at Hanley, a part of Stoke-on-Trent. 

Here I was trying to get a photo of a heron but all I managed to do was get in Brigid's way as she tried to negotiate a bridge and a bend. She way not a very happy bunny, I can tell you, especially when you can hardly see the heron! 

Here we are on our mooring. All around new houses are going up and there are quite a few children playing in the area. 

We walked into Hanley and visited the Emma Bridgewater pottery where we had lunch. 

After that we wandered into the town centre and visited the Potteries Museum and saw pieces from the Staffordshire horde. 

This is an amazing museum and well worth a visit if you are in the area. 

A threatening sky but, luckily, no rain for us.
