A strange day

Friday 18th. Today is our last full day in New Zealand for tomorrow we fly across to Sydney, Australia. We started our New Zealand holiday with friends, Pat & Bill and we've finished with friends, Peter and Robert.

But, today we've stayed around all day, packing our cases, repacking our cases, wondering why we bought all the clothes we did and trying to work out how we packed everything in the first place. Hopefully some of our warmer clothes can be used on the train next week since the blurb says that the air conditioning can make the cabins cool in the evenings. For almost nine weeks we have lived in shorts and t-shirts, washing these on a regular basis. My legs have never been on display for so long since I was under 10! Anyway, off to Auckland tonight for our last B&B so that we are closer to the airport for a 4:30am start in the morning. Don't think I'm going to see much of the breakfast in B&B! Probably just the bed!

Thanks again to Peter & Robert for looking after us, especially Peter who fed us poached eggs and hash browns before sending us on our way.
