From here on we are covering ground that we covered on the trip out, so there may not be so many pictures.
In the distance is Cannock Chase. Perhaps one day we'll stop somewhere around here and go and explore a bit.
We had been warned about this gang working on the bridge. Supposedly they were trying to dig a coping stone out of the canal.
Didn't see any of that, all we could see was the work they were doing on the bridge hole.
Approaching Rugeley and crossing the Trent again.
Some people have garden gnomes whilst others...
This one has an enclosed swimming pool but no gnomes!
And, as always, sailing past the Ash Tree Boat Club. I don't know why but I am always taken by this club and its line of moored boats.
We safely navigated the Armitage Tunnel and made our way to just before King's Bromley Marina.
Another very hot day and once again a thunderstorm in the evening.
