Evening shadows and reflections.
Tuesday and it's my birthday. Whoopy! Had a shower so I know it's my birthday.
We set off again moving on toward Loughborough.
Looking back toward the Otter pub.
Now passing the Rose & Crown at Zouch. (I seem to be focussing on pubs today!)
Now passing the boat club at Normanton on Soar.
We managed, for the first time ever, to moor at the Plough pub and restaurant. All we had to do was make sure we left 65' for the Peter le Marchant Trust disabled trip boat.
10 minutes later the trip boat arrived and offloaded a party of folk for lunch in the pub.
And, so did we.
We then had a walk round the village, tried to look in the church.
But it was locked. Instead, we looked in their community shop.
Looks very good but doesn't carry the stock that we do in Bradwell.
Here's the Plough from the front.
And here's our mooring at the back.
And here we are celebrating at supper with steak and Stilton sauce for me and Tuna steak for Brigid. Certainly slept well after that.
