We've arrived, at last! We should have been on the boat on Tuesday but, when looking at the weather forecast, it was all wind and rain and we thought it wiser to stay at home until the worst passed over.
A slow journey up to Bugbrooke with lengthy delays on the M1 but we are here now.
I'm sure we've brought too much with us but we are hoping to be on the cut for 3 months. We'll be meeting up with friends along the way, some preplanned and others on the spur of the moment.
But, before all the excitement of meeting and greeting, a quick sit down and a cup of tea for the captain.
