We decided that, after all the charging along to get through Watford Locks before any long-term closures, we would have a day off from travelling and stay put where we were.
The morning was spent applying rust inhibitor to the spots on the roof and an undercoat in the afternoon.
Fortunately, the day was not too hot and, as you can see, we had lunch on the towpath with our neighbours.
Supper was also taken outside - corned beef hash.
There's nothing like comfort food, outdoors on a warm summer's day.
